Just a quick update about the steps at Heaton Park metrolink.

A number of people have been in touch about the poor surface, and the large amount of water that is retained there since the roof was taken off the steps a few months ago. I know people are worried that this will become treacherous in icy weather.

I have been in touch with Metrolink, who have agreed to look at this (and the unsatisfactory way the paintwork has been left at the station) as part of a review of the upgrade works that is happening shortly.

Please get in touch if there are other things that need sorting from the upgrade.
