Did you know the Big Lottery Fund is now called The National Lottery Community Fund? And that they have Funding Officer dedicated to the Bury area? AND they have simplified their processes making it easier for community groups to access funding?
The Fund is working with Bury VCFA to ensure that local charities and community groups in Bury find out about the changes, who can apply, and the new simplified application process. Helen, the local funding officer, is holding a free information event on Mon 17th June 2019 at Bury Met at 1:00pm.
The event is open to representatives of all local community groups and charities (groups do not have to be a registered charity to apply for funding) to find out more about: ‘Awards For All’ for grants up to £10,000 funding ‘Reaching Communities’ for grants over £10,000 and/or 1-5 years Helen is also keen to be in touch with projects that have had Awards For All funding and are looking to explore the opportunity for longer term funding through Reaching Communities.
There is more information available about the funding streams at https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/ You will need to book and places will be limited. Please contact Pauline Crossley firstname.lastname@example.org or Neil Gibson email@example.com to secure your place.Leave a comment
