Achieve drug and alcohol partnership arrives in Bury

A partnership between Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH), The Big Life Group and Early Break have been successful in becoming the provider of substance misuse services in Bury. The partnership already runs services in Bolton, Salford and Trafford.

A partnership between Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH), The Big Life Group and Early Break have been successful in becoming the provider of substance misuse services in Bury. The partnership already runs services in Bolton, Salford and Trafford.

Early Break has been established in Bury for 25 years separate to the Achieve partnership and is now delighted to be part of Achieve across Bury ensuring the seamless offer of an all age service. Families and young people in particular can be especially affected by a family member living with a substance misuse problem, working with Early Break we can ensure a whole family intervention. Separate to this family offer the partnership includes an Early Break one to one service for young people who present with their own treatment needs. The Big Life Group supports service users in an established assertive outreach model  to rebuild their lives and work towards a more optimistic future. 

Achieve Bury will take a whole-person approach and help to address issues such as employment, education, housing, finances and relationships which can prevent or slow down recovery.
